Meet Karla Chase, our library director.
KARLA CHASE
Karla is a 1990 graduate of Northwestern College. She has been employed at the Orange City Public Library since 1990 and has been our director since 1999. Karla oversaw the building of the new library, making the contents of our collection viewable on the internet, and the installation of our RFID system.
Shirley Taylor accepted the position of Assistant Director and began work at the end of September in 2011. Since her graduation from University Missouri - Columbia with a Master's degree in Library Science, she has completed 17 years of experience in various libraries across the country.
